Closing remarks

Dear Colleagues EURODIM2018 is over. During the five working days we fully realized the conference program including:

 4 plenary lectures,

 22 keynote presentations,

 61 oral presentations,

 42 poster presentations.

We want to thank over 100 participants, who came to Bydgoszcz from 25 countries from all over the world:

- from Peru to New Zeeland and from Estonia to South Africa

- to share the knowledge, experience and new ideas in the physics and chemistry of insulating materials.

We had a chance to consider many different aspects of these materials: from different physical properties to unexpected behavior, from theoretical description to technological applications. We are sure that there have been many interesting and useful presentations, both in the plenary sessions and during the poster sessions. We do believe that many fruitful discussions and experiences have been shared during these days.

We also want to express many thanks to everyone who found the way to Bydgoszcz and contributed to this meeting in many different ways. We do hope that it has been a great time for all of you. We also thank all sponsors for the financial and organizational support of the conference.

Special thanks to ITS Poland company for the successful realization of our social events.

We wish you success in your scientific works and all the best in your private and professional life as well. Since you are already back home, just think about Bydgoszcz and realize that you have colleagues all over the world, who face scientific problems just like you.

We look forward to contributions of the conference materials, which will be published in the special issue of Optical Materials.
Let us remind you of the next EURODIM conference, which will be held in Ghent, Belgium. We hope to see all of you there in 2022.
